Weekly Plan Spotlight: Sprint’s Unlimited Kickstart plan for $25/month
Welcome back to the Weekly Plan Spotlight! We’ve got a small assortment of deals for you this week, including Sprint grabbing the headlines with the return of their Unlimited Kickstart plan. Without further ado, let’s dive right in.
Sprint Unlimited Kickstart plan for $25 per month
As we reported last week, Sprint is offering you unlimited talk, text, and data for just $25 month. There’s no annual contract or requirement to purchase a phone from Sprint. It’s probably an outright grab for market share, but who cares? It’s a buyer’s market, and you can be the beneficiary.
Take note, this is a flash sale. Sprint offered the Kickstart plan back in June for one week only, so you probably only have days left to sign up.
The main caveat is that you have to port an existing number from another provider. There are a few other bits of red tape you can find on the site, but if you’re looking for a cheap plan with no annual contract and you don’t need a new phone then this plan is great value.

$200 off the Samsung Galaxy S9 from Cricket
This offer from Cricket is pretty straightforward too. If you port over your existing number from another carrier (although not from AT&T), you can save $200 on purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S9.
The deal is only available on plans of $30 or more per month, but other than that it’s all saving. If you were looking to leave your current provider anyway and pick up a Galaxy S9 in the process, you could do a lot worse.

Four unlimited data lines for $120 per month from MetroPCS
Finally on the spotlight menu this week, MetroPCS is offering four lines of unlimited data, including a 10GB of hotspot allowance, for $120 per month. If you can get together three friends who are also looking for a new plan, this option could be a perfect match.
You get unlimited talk, text and data for each line, but there are a couple of thing to bear in mind. The new lines run off the T-Mobile network, and deprioritization may occur for users who have used over 35GB during the month. In other words, if you’re a data hog you might eventually get throttled. Still, you’d do well to hit that limit.
